The mission of the Dunellen Fire Department is to provide the residents of Dunellen with a highly trained and efficient fire suppression and prevention organization. The Dunellen Fire Department operates in a safe manner to protect the community from the ravages of fire and other hazardous situations within the scope of our resources.

As Volunteer Firefighters, we are required to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks are very diverse and may include the rescue and care of victims; fire prevention; cleanup; hazardous materials containment; and/or community service.
