POLL WORKER FOR ELECTIONS
AT THIS TIME DUNELLEN IS LOOKING FOR SUBSTITUTE POLL WORKERS. THE HOURS ARE 5:15 AM TO 8 PM. PAY FOR THE DAY IS $200.00. POLL WORKERS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE  ONE CLASS ABOUT WORKING AT THE POLLS EVERY TWO YEARS.   IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE CALL 732-968-3033.

The Borough of Dunellen Police Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of probationary police officer.  Candidates must be certified in the Basic Course for Police Officers from the NJ Police Training Commission (PTC), or currently enrolled in a PTC certified NJ Police Academy Alternate Route program, or certified with a waiver eligible Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II (SLEO II) certification from the NJ PTC. SLEO II certified candidates must be waiver eligible or will not be accepted.  The ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus.  Please forward resume and copy of PTC certificate to the Dunellen Police Department, attention Chief Daniel Smith, 355 North Ave. Dunellen, NJ 08812. Planning Board Recording Secretary

The Borough of Dunellen is seeking a Planning Board Recording Secretary. Meetings are held virtually on the fourth Monday of each month.  The Recording Secretary shall generally perform the meeting recording work of the Board, including, but not limited to the following:(a)Attend all meetings of the Board (virtual), record meeting minutes, take roll call votes, and insure the recordation of affirmative and negative votes as well as abstentions;(b)Make a transcription record of the proceedings, when requested, of each hearing of the Board in accordance with these rules and keep minutes of the proceedings of each meeting, including work sessions, held by the Board and enter therein such resolutions and orders as are adopted by the Board.
